The whole team gathers for its last workshop at La Rochelle, begining this Wednesday 15th June morning,. The objective is to finalize their projects and pitches to be ready for the official presentation taking place next Tuesday at Sunny Side of the Doc in front of international experts and Decision Makers.

The first workshop of PiXii Co-creation started this week in Brussels aiming to initiatie synergies bewteen artists and innovative studios, key digital players and cultural institutions in order to develop international collaborative projects with immersive contents. This first chapter will allow PiXii Co-creation’s participants to find their partner and meet international decision-makers at the Kikk Festival in Namur.

The PiXii Co-Creation selection jury, composed by Anne Férignac (Sunny Side of the Doc), Juliette Bibasse, Edouard Meier (Creatis), George Kalomenopoulos (2K Films) and Stéphane Malagnac (PiXii Festival), deliberated this June 9, 2021 to select the 12 candidates who will participate in the first edition of the European incubator of immersive projects.

In November 2018, five museums, four based in Thessaloniki (the Museum of Modern Art - Costakis Collection, the Museum of Contemporary Art - Collections of the Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art and the State Museum of Contemporary Art, Thessaloniki Museum of Photography, the Experimental Center for the Arts) and one in Athens (Museum Alex Mylona) officially joined forces, creating a single, large, integrated public cultural institution, called MOMus (for The Metropolitan Organisation of Museums of Visual Arts of Thessaloniki) whose aspiration is to print its fingerprint on international modern and contemporary art, photography, sculpture and the experimental arts.
